Highways
Salemi lies near the following two highways. The highway 188
connecting Marsala to Lercara Friddi and the highway 188A
connecting the city to Calatafimi. Another is the highway
119 connecting Alcamo to Castelvetrano.
Motorways
Salemi is close to the motorway A29 connecting Palermo to
Mazara del Vallo. It is also close to the branch of A29
connecting Trapani to Alcamo.
They are a freeways and have two lanes plus an emergency
lane in both directions. There are no gas stations along the
motorways, but it is easy to find fuel in any of the towns
crossed by the same motorways.
