Flights

Sicily is served by two main airports: Falcone-Borsellino Airport in Palermo (West side of the island) and Fontana Rossa Airport in Catania (East side of the island). Both airports are connected daily to numerous Italian and international destinations.

A third airport which is the the civil airport of the province of Trapani where Salemi is located is Sen. Vincenzo Florio in Trapani - Birgi. From there you can reach daily Rome, Milan and the island of Lampedusa (Pelagie).

So if you are planning a visit to Salemi, you might want to fly to Palermo (PMO airport code) or Trapani (TPS airport code).
